Sunday saw the thaw of the remaining snow bar the top of Scar Fell. Parked in Esk Dale and walked up to Slight Side where it was boggy, then cloudy on top. Got to Scar Fell (964m) without too much issue bar the ice in places. Coming off the peak proves a little more interesting, but found our way down to Burnmoor Tarn where it was very windy. Walked south until we came to the farm in Esk Dale. Picked our way to the road then walked eastewards back to the Vito.
